Reliquary - wearable jewelry 

During a recent visit to Cleveland museum of Art, I was able to visit  an exhibit with ancient  French + English reliquaries -meaning hollow forms filled with directed positive energy and worn for protection for the people at that time.      They were beautiful little shapes and symbolism handmade + soldered in silver and gold that was strung together to create a powerful wearable necklace. The necklace was worn to bring in abundance and protection. 

This is a Brillant connection to my own personal European history and is so closely aligned to what I do that I created and curated my own collection of powerful, beautiful reliquaries for us all. 

A reliquary is a French word and concept from 1500 meaning a container or shrine in which sacred relics are kept. 

My research in the past on reliquaries and symbolism comes from traveling through the world in the early days before the internet connected + bound us all so deeply. I had the opportunity to observe the concepts of a few powerful symbols such as the cross, heart and circle shapes.  As I traveled. I saw how each cultures used the same concept but metamorphosized each symbol to make it their own.
