Shopping Tips

Tip #1: Create a customer account.
The checkout process will be much quicker if you are already logged into the website and ready to complete your purchase. A lot of you have created your accounts already, so yay!  (Please note: if you're not sure if you have an account yet, just go to jewelsofthenomad.com/account/login and click "log in" at the top of your screen and try it!)

 

Tip #2: Make sure you are logged into the shop on the day of the shop update BEFORE the sale goes live.
On the day of the sale, go to jewelsofthenomad.com and make sure you are logged in. If you have already set up your account, you'll save valuable time during checkout. On Fridays- listings go live at 9am PST/noon EST. On special jewelry sale days (always a Saturday), listings go live at 2pm PST/5pm EST.

Tip #3: Check out the Sale Preview before the event to get an idea of what you want to purchase.
Before the sale, we will email Susan's email list with a link to preview the sale. This link will only be shared with newsletter subscribers. This will help you look through all the jewelry in advance and decide what you want to go for. To join Susan's email list, click HERE.

Tip #5: Check out quickly!
I chatted with Shopify to find out exactly how inventory is processed during checkout. Here's what I found out- a product is not reserved for you if you add it to your cart. But- once you start the checkout process and get to the section where you are selecting your payment method, anything in your cart that is currently in stock will be reserved for you for five minutes so that you can complete check-out. This is why having a customer account and knowing in advance what you want to buy can be key in making sure you are successful!
